Weekly Menu Plan & Fitness Recap {5/29}

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!! I hope you're all having a great weekend and staying safe (and dry) if you're on the East coast and in the path of Tropical Storm Bonnie. We got lots of rain yesterday and are supposed to get more today and tomorrow, but we're not letting that ruin our fun!! After a pretty stressful week, we had Camden's 3rd birthday party yesterday. The rain came, but the fun still went on!

To be honest, I wasn't feeling very well last night after all of the splurges, not only from yesterday, but earlier in the week. I really need to get a grip. We've had so many vacations and parties lately and some weight has crept back on. It would be that big of a deal, but some of my clothes are pretty snug. I refuse to buy new ones, so that means it's time to buckle down and get serious again!!

Here's what I have planned for the week:

Sunday - Grilled Hamburgers
Monday - Memorial Day Cookout
Tuesday - Italian Chicken Tenders
Wednesday - Brinner
Thursday - Leftovers
Friday -  Dinner Out
Saturday - Chicken Stirfry

Fitness Recap:
This week was so all over the place with workouts. I had more rest days than normal. I'm not happy about it, but it is what it is. I can't do anything about this past week, but I can definitely do something about his coming week!!

Weekly Menu Plan & Fitness Recap {5/22)

Happy weekend everyone! So, apparently, I've relapsed back to the blogger that only puts up a new post once a week and even that one is only the weekly plan. How sad is that?! Hopefully, things will slow down for me and I'll be able to get some new and fun stuff posted soon for you guys. Please hang in there. It'll get better!!

Last night, was Camden's end of year performance for his daycare. While, he was NOT the child that cried for his mommy the whole time, he WAS the child that not only sat, but also layed down on the stage. Fun times!! Luckily, everyone got a kick out of it. And I do have the pictures to prove it to him later in life. Gotta love those embarrassing pictures!

So, my baby boy's 3rd birthday is on Wednesday. This is crazy! How is it that time flies by so much faster when you have kids?! We are having his party next Saturday at the house. He requested a Mickey Mouse theme, so that what we're going for! I'll definitely share some pictures with you all.

Weekly Menu Plan & Fitness Recap {5/15}

Hey there!! I hope you're all having a great weekend!! I'm actually enjoying the sunshine as I'm writing this with a little bit of time by the pool.
It's been such a beautiful weekend!! Friday was movie night, we went to the zoo yesterday and today started with a 5 mile run, followed by time around the house.

Last week ended up being a lot busier than I had expected! My SIL had her baby on Monday, after almost 24 hours of labor!! Baby girl is healthy and she and mama are doing great! Definitely lots of blessings going on around here!

I'm starting a new challenge tomorrow with a challenge group and I'm really hoping it gets me back on track. I haven't been doing that bad with my workouts, but my eating is another story!!

Weekly Menu Plan & Fitness Recap {5/8ish}

Hey there!! Sorry for the late post this week, but we had a weekend chocked full of some exciting stuff! Addison's 7th birthday was on Friday. We went out to dinner to celebrate with my family and then had some DQ ice cream cake for dessert. Saturday was party central at our house. Addison wanted a luau to celebrate, so I did everything I could to give her the Hawaiian experience.
Most of the guests left in the early afternoon, my my family stayed and we kept the party going until the sun went down. I'm so thankful that my family stays to help clean up after these kinds of events!! It definitely helps to lighten our load at the end of the day!

Mother's Day started with a 5 mile run, followed by some strawberry picking and more family time. It's weekends like these that remind me of how blessed I really am!

It felt great to get a 10 mile run in! I hadn't run that far since the half marathon in November and just want to see if I could. And now I know :-)
