Weekly Food & Fitness Plan #57

Good morning!! I started this Sunday, but ended up having issues with Google Blogger, so didn't get it posted until now....


Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you're all having a good weekend. Ours has been great! We are camping on Edisto Island, which I've decided is one of my favorite places in South Carolina. It's absolutely gorgeous down here and is a little bit off the beaten path. It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle every now and then.
I had a short run yesterday, then we relaxed and went to the Shrimp Festival that they were having at the marina. It also helped that it was the first sunny day that we have had in over a week! That definitely helped to make the day a little bit nicer. Thisoening, we made a quick trip to the beach. Camden was so sure at first, but didn't want to leave when it was time to go. Lol! We are headed home now and back to reality. Working for the weekend, right?

Monday - Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Tuesday - Chicken & Papardelle with Creamy tomato Sauce
Wednesday - Turkey Tacos

Friday - 3 mile run
Saturday - 3 mile run

Weekly Food & Fitness Plan #56

Well, hello! Has it already been a week since my last Food & Fitness Plan post? It seems like every week gets faster, more hectic and stressful than the last for me. To be honest, this last week had my stress levels through the roof. I ended up at the dr Friday afternoon with flu symptoms. Turns out, it was an ear infection and apparently, stress. This weekend has been just what I needed. I really wish it was a longer weekend, but I'm still going to make the most of my Sunday!

I did get to do the Run or Dye race yesterday with Addison, my sister, niece and a friend her her boys.
It probably wasn't the best idea if ever had since I had the ear infection, but hind-sight is 20/20, right? I did have a great time.

Addison...not so much.
She definitely isn't a runner. She told me that she did NOT want to do it next year! Poor thing.

Here is the plan for the week. We are going camping again next weekend in one of my favorite places, so I'm definitely looking forward to that!

Weekly Food & Fitness Plan #55

Hey friends!! I hope you're all having a great Sunday and weekend. I'm posting this a bit later because we had little to no service where we were camping this weekend. But it's better late than never, right? 

Life has been pretty busy and quite honestly, pretty overwhelming for me the last few weeks. So overwhelming, in fact, that I decided to deactivate my Facebook account. I realized that I was wasting way too much time on there and the majority of the things people were posting were negative and were making me behative as well. Life has enough negativity in it already, I didn't need any extra when I'm trying to live a positive life. I'll probably create a new account at some point in the future and re-connect with those that mean the most to me and are a positive influence on my life. So, long story short, if you've been looking for me on Facebook, that's why you haven't been able to find me.

Now that that's out of the way, let's see what is planned for the week:

Tuesday - 7-Up Grilled Chicken
Wednesday - Grilled Kielbasa Sandwiches
Thursday - Chicken Parmesan

Sunday - Yoga Meltdown
Monday - Ripped in 30
Tuesday - Ripped in 30

Friday - Ripped in 30
Saturday - Run or Dye 5k!!

I'm pretty excited about the Run or Dye race next weekend. I have to get a white BAMR band before then! Have a great weekend everyone!

Weekly Food & Fitness Plan #54

Good morning friends! I hope you're all having a great weekend. Ours has been pretty relaxed, which is just what I needed this week. Things are really ramping up for me with my United Way work. I'm really loving it, but everyday is a contant on-the-go day for me. So it was really nice to have a relaxing weekend. We are still packing and doing little things around the house, but staying pretty close to home.

We are camping next weekend and doing our annual float down the Edisto. They are calling for some cooler weather. Cooler being a relative term in the low country, but it will definitely make for a nicer camping trip. I will be spending the last part of this week packing and getting ready for the weekend, which will add to the chaos, but YOLO, right?!

Tuesday - Past & Turkey Meat Sauce
Wednesday - Grilled 7Up Chicken
